Just what we have all been waiting for, the 3-part video of the Sandwich Town Council Monthly Meeting in January 2022. This is the first time a Sandwich Town Council Monthly Meeting has been videoed and shared and hopefully this will be a regular occurrence. It is vitally important for us ALL to be able to see what goes on in our name.

Couple of comments….
1. Does anybody know if the CEO’s newly employed post of CEO’s part time PA was advertised , or was this another job that wasn’t?
Who is the new P.A as often that person maybe a residents initial person of contact?
2. Re Cllr Carter raising the issue of 8k Guildhall Forecourt payment & DDC delaying the works.
Thank goodness Cllr Carter raised this and got it proposed to put forward to DDC that the 8k shouldn’t be lost to STC (DDC pay as they delayed).
I think this maybe one of many financial issues, due to delays by DDC, to STC, and a sharp scrutiny on future extra loss or costs incurred by STC should be taken. Any extra costs or losses to STC should be reimbursed by DDC surely.
3. Re Cllr Friend non attendance. Does he frequently send apologies? Public speaker – re dumped rubbish…atrocious lack of care by anyone representing STC. Cllr Friend really should of attended!
